During the Private Camp on San Andres Island, Global Kite Trips explored the captivating island situated near Panama and owned by Colombians. The selection of this location was driven by key criteria: flat water, wind ranging from 16kts to 21kts, and turquoise waters. Sandy and her cousin reveled in the favorable conditions, making significant progress in their kiteboarding skills.

Lunches and dinners were delightful adventures, exploring recommended restaurants and local food trucks. Indulging in delicious locally caught seafood, tropical fruits, and fresh vegetables, the culinary experience perfectly complemented the daily kiteboarding routine. San Andres boasts protected areas with abundant underwater life, offering the opportunity for leisurely snorkeling in calm waters on the west side of the island.

The two-week Private Camp on San Andres Island encapsulated pure kiteboarding bliss, exploration, and unforgettable moments. Sandy and Stan expressed their love for San Andres and their eagerness to return, excluding the hurricane season. Sandy achieved milestones, mastering unhooking, back rolls, and dark slides. Stan progressed from water starts to extended upwind rides. Antoine and Sandra found the trip equally amazing, with Antoine noting the remarkably stable wind, and Sandra relishing the island’s culinary delights, scenic downwinders, and the universal speed limit of 30km/h throughout the island.
